Fused Glass Classes

I will be offering a three hour intensive class in the design, fabrication and firing of fused art glass.

Each member of the class will make  full-size, functional glass pieces, such as plates, bowls, or platters.  Typical pieces would be 11" diameter round plates, 11" square bowls, etc.   These will make great gifts, handmade by YOU!

I will provide all the materials, all necessary tools, and the instruction.

The class will be held in my studio, therefore I will limit each class to two or three students.

The classes will be by appointment.  I'm in my studio a lot, usually 7 days a week, so the opportunity for appointment times will be wide.  I can start a class anytime between 9AM and 7PM every day.  The only exception is I will not hold any classes on Saturday or Sunday between 12 noon and 6PM.  But even those weekend days have an opportunity for an early class 9AM - 12.

You will learn design for fused glass, glass cutting, fusing theory, and kiln firing schedules.

You will load your pieces in the kiln, I will fire then overnight, and then I will also reload the kiln and slump your pieces over a mold.  After you initially load the kiln, the next time you'll see your pieces they will be fully finished functional glass art.

The cost of the class is $120 per person.  If you sign up together at the same time, the cost for both will be $220 (slight discount)
